Cristiano Ronaldo and his longtime girlfriend, Georgina Rodríguez, are officially engaged after eight years of dating. Rodríguez announced the news on Instagram on August 11, 2025, sharing a photo of her hand atop Ronaldo’s, showcasing a massive oval-cut diamond engagement ring, estimated to be worth $1.2 million. She captioned the post in Spanish, “Sí, quiero. En esta y en todas mis vidas,” translating to “Yes, I do. In this and in all my lives.”

The couple, who began dating in 2016 when Rodríguez worked at a Gucci store in Madrid, have four children together: twins Eva Maria and Mateo (born 2017 via surrogacy), Alana (born 2017), and Bella (born 2022). They also experienced the tragic loss of Bella’s twin brother, Ángel, during childbirth in 2022. Ronaldo is also father to Cristiano Jr., 15, from a previous relationship.

Their engagement follows years of speculation, fueled by Rodríguez’s Netflix series "I Am Georgina", where Ronaldo hinted at a future proposal, saying he was waiting for the right “click” and was “1,000 percent sure” it would happen. The couple, now based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where Ronaldo plays for Al-Nassr, has built a strong family bond, with Rodríguez describing Ronaldo as her “Prince Charming.”
